5 cheap guitar mods you can do yourself that ACTUALLY make a difference. In this video we go through the simple modifications i've made to my guitars, as well as some i'm hoping to make in the near future. All of these mods have made a big difference to the guitar's playability and sound, as well making the guitars enjoyable to play.

If your guitar doesn't play well, doesn't sound quite right then it can make us quick to disregard it as a bad instrument and it leads us to selling guitars more than we maybe should. If you don't like your guitar for whatever reason, then instead of selling it being your first instinct, it may be worth considering these relatively cheap, and simple upgrades.

All of these can be done yourself at home with a bit of reasearch and a bit of bravery, but if you don't feel comfortable modifying guitars yourself, Luthier's will be able to do this for you and all the mods mentioned are very routine a luthier will be able to do them no problem and it shouldn't cost very much at all.

Therefore, it might be a good idea to look at the instruments you already have and see if there's a way to improve them. If done properly, it can make your guitar feel like a brand new instrument.
