After doing film and written reviews for a year and maintaining a website , most manufacturers would not invest in advertising or cover costs and they should make contributions to my site. Nothing is free, especially in COVID-19 times. So I thought a better model might be asking those people who value my independent and brutally honest reviews to pay subscription fees.

My main aim in this site is to present reviews with my opinion, call out bad products and rave about good ones. Always in comparison. This is because I was fed up with reading over inflamed positive reviews always. Ie. not some anodyne, always pandering manufactures type review. I do this before any thought of any income the review may generate. It is a journalistic pursuit with integrity. Who would have thought!!

Please value honesty by subscribing as then this project can continue. If you want a reviewer just to pander to the manufacturer to confirm your opinion, I'm not for you. I look at products with honesty, integrity and make videos fun and engaging with good production which takes days of effort. Best Wishes Simon
