Renaissance Resort & Spa, Pattaya, Thailand

Join me (Luxury Vegan Travel) as I visit my first hotel in Pattaya, Thailand.
The Renaissance Hotel is located in a quieter part of Pattaya, away from the buzzing nightlife. This makes this hotel great for families with young children. However, I did encounter a few issues at the hotel - watch the review.

Apart from the technical problems, I also found the hotel to be quite dull. In almost all other hotels I visit I receive the warmest of welcomes, particularly in Thailand as it is the Thai way! However, when walking around this hotel the staff seemed to be focused on their immediate tasks, no real interaction or friendliness you expect in Thailand. The exception to this is the Breakfast, the restaurant Manager and breakfast team were superb! It was very enjoyable so much so that I could easily sit there for a couple of hours and chill!

I would recommend this hotel only if you want to go somewhere quiet, no rely on technology (as poor WIFI and TV reception). However, it may be a bit noisy (as expected) around the kids pool. It is also away from the nightlife and so is more relaxed.

I personally will never re-visit this hotel but would definitely visit the Courtyard Pattaya (watch the next video)
