Can you trust ChatGPT with your health?

I’m Abbey Sharp, registered dietitian, and today we’re talking about something that needs more attention: how ChatGPT may be giving out disordered eating advice, especially to teens. I asked it to build a weight loss plan for a 17-year-old girl, and what I got back was shocking.

From 1200-calorie meal plans to hunger suppression tricks pulled straight from pro-ana forums, it became clear that AI is not a safe substitute for a dietitian. In this video, I break down what went wrong, why it’s so dangerous, and where ChatGPT could actually be helpful when used responsibly.
