Opening Day Interviews from the Rails of O-Train Lines 2 & 4 - January 6, 2025

January 6, 2025, marked the opening of O-Train Lines 2 and 4 to the public, introducing weekday service to Ottawa’s transit network. Rail Fans Canada was on board the first train departing Bayview Station just after 6 a.m., capturing the excitement of this historic day.

During the inaugural trips, we interviewed key senior management at OC Transpo to discuss their reactions, insights, and the public’s response to the launch.
