Anzali Industrial Free Trade Zone is one of Iran's "Seven Free Zones" in Gilan province, which was established in Anzali city in 2004 in line with the country's economic goals. In line with the country's economic goals and following the then president's visit to Anzali city, and according to the wishes of the people and based on the approval of the government board, in 1975, the Bandar Anzali special economic zone was established in two separate parts, and in 1982, the Anzali special economic zone became a free zone. Anzali industrial trade zone has been changed and in 2083, the statute of the Anzali industrial trade free zone organization was approved by the board of ministers, and the boundaries of the Anzali industrial trade free zone were determined and notified by the board of ministers in 2084. based on which Anzali Free Zone in three sections and separate port areas; The General Administration of Ports and Shipping of the province included the Anzali industrial town and the area of ​​the former Anzali special economic zone with an area of ​​3200 hectares of land and a depth of 2 km from the sea along a length of 20 km from the edge of the Caspian Sea.
