Connect SAP S/4HANA from VS Code by installing the SAP S/4HANA extension, configuring the connection details, and using the SAP S/4HANA API explorer to access the API and perform operations.
In my previous video post, I have demonstrated how to create a basic UI5 app using Visual Studio Code.
In this video, I would like to demonstrate how to develop UI5 apps using Visual Studio Code that consume OData services from an on-premise SAP System like SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP BW, SAP ECC.
Visual Studio Code allows us to develop Ui5 apps using Data Services from various sources like :-

Connect to SAP System
Connect to Odata Service
Connect to SAP API Hub
Upload a Metadata Document

In this video, we will look at Option 1 – Connect to SAP System and use Odata Services from it.

Prerequisite - Your laptop already connected to your company VPN and OData is accessible in your browser. For our training server please use IP address instead of host name and no VPN required,
