Inside The Academy Episode 5: Blackburn Rovers FC Football Documentary

MyPersonalFootballCoach Director Of Coaching and World-Class Individual Skill Specialist, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, makes the trip to the north of England to take a look through the Academy operations of former English Premier League club, Blackburn Rovers.

Although no longer a top-tier club, their Academy has still kept its Category 1 status whilst working tirelessly to uphold the Club Motto, ‘Arte et Labore’ - By Skill and Hard Work . The academy is one which prides itself on building a culture of understanding that “Every individual from U9-U23 will be developed holistically as both a person and a player'' and having developed some quality talent in the past with players such as Damien Duff and David Dunn, they continue to do so with David Raya, who came through on a scholarship and is now Goalkeeper at Arsenal FC (on loan from Brentford FC), Scott Wharton, Matty Pearson, and Hayden Carter.
