Hugh and Andrew are taking a group to Egypt in November 2024 to visit Qasr el Sagha and other amazing sites for only $3250. Details here: http://www.megalithomania.co.uk/egypt.... Qasr el Sagha is located near the lake of Fayoum in Egypt. It is a remote megalithic temple with cyclopean and polygonal construction. It’s a trek to get there in 4x4s and surface luminescent dating has put the first phase at possibly up to 3700 BC, making it one thousand years older than the first pyramids. It resembles the Osirion and Valley Temple but has its own unique style. It has 12th dynasty connections but this was most likely a later phase related to Sobekneferu. Featuring Andrew Collins, Yousef Awyan and Hugh Newman.
