If you are brand new to Adobe After Effects- This 1st course (part of a set) is for you. We are using Adobe After Effects cc 2017- but most (if not all) the topics and tools should be the same in versions as low as cs6

I've spent the last 5 years instructing Fortune 500 companies and college classes in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Motion, Mocha and a few odds and ends. I work fulltime currently at Wisconsin Public Television and decided to give all my introductory lessons away for free.

In this lesson learn the basics of After Effects as well as some uses. You will learn the program as well as the different panels as we import assets and create assets to build some video graphics.
You will learn about some layer types like Shapes, Solids, Text layers and adjusting those items.
