While missing the company of my brother in-law Nick Dodge on this trip, a close friend, Alan Reeves and I took a couple of days in late October to fish River Phillip, Nova Scotia. This is my first 'fishing trip' with the GoPro camera, and the Salmon Gods cooperated! We managed to capture video of me fishing a pool, when Alan identifies one of my cast as, "that's the one Steve". My line swung about six feet and wham...I was attached to a beautiful fresh fall salmon. The whole fight, hook-up to release, is depicted in the video. Thank you to Alan for the excellent camera work and entertaining commentary! It was a great time and good a laugh!
