IO 550: Real-World Performance

You have seen the terrific cruise-speed at high power settings during the break-in of my IO-550B in the Bonanza, but how does my new setup perform in the real-world, after break-in? In this video, Martin flies the new engine and propeller lean-of-peak (LOP) for the first time and shows how the more powerful engine, the more efficient propeller, and going from old to brand-new equipment yields a cruise speed improvement of 12 knots.
