Project MUGEN: The Foolish Fools of April

Can we get much higher?

Characters:
Shlonic the Wedgehog (TIS2012)
In case anyone wasn't sure, this is indeed a compilation of some of my favorite characters that were released on April Fool's. I've actually covered some of them already, such as Literally Me, Gato, Clippy, and Yee. My memory's a bit spotty and some of these might have been released on another date but I'm pretty sure about these. Starting off with a simple one, a joke edit of MUGEN Hunter's Sonic. I'm personally a big fan of the rings being replaced by Millhouse, as well as my own stupid edit, DANKIKANG.

Death Egg Robot (PineappleProducer)
A bit more complex than Shlonic but just as easy to describe. Simply put it's the final boss of Sonic 2 but being piloted by the late great Billy Mays. Fun stuff.

Muncher (PineappleProducer)
I actually didn't realize this guy was made by the person who did the previous character, but they're both pretty cool. It's the guy from Super Mario World, pretty cool.

Farmer (Team Z2)
Now this guy's pretty great, it's the farmer who first encountered Raditz in DBZ. It actually took me years to realize he had a phase 2, and it's honestly incredible.

Possessed Pokemon Trainer (DJ HANNIBALROYCE)
Similar to Literally Me, this is a scrapped character that was released in an unfinished state for April Fool's. Honestly pretty cool. He's got Hitmonchan too, I love that guy. Also the one super he's got being Gen 6 Retaliate is absolutely fantastic.

Mecha-Barney (PineappleProducer)
This guy's also pretty great. Turning a typical gag character into a giant robot, very fun, I like it.

Hobocop (Basara-kun)
The mysteriously scrapped character from ClayFighter 63 1/3 makes a playable debut. Comedically spotty on purpose but still a lot of fun. Also he's got Shrek voicelines, which is cool.

Magic Geese (The_None)
This guy's basically the mac daddy of April Fool's characters. At least I'm pretty sure he was released on April Fool's. This is basically a regular The_None-type character which explains his esteemed status. It's Geese Howard but also Shadow the Hedgehog, which is fun.

Mr. Satan (Balthazar & Cybaster)
Here's another Z2 April Fool's character. He's very in-character for Mr. Satan, which is always fun.

Minority Hunter Zolo (Brergrsart)
Internally known as Hashtag CancelRoronoaZoro, this was the only April Fool's character I was able to find this year. Thankfully Brergrsart had my back with one more pirate. Yo Zolo, he's like a samurai. And while the name seems questionable, Brergrsart made sure to put a disclaimer on the download page that it was merely a dumb meme and they do not condone any sort of bigotry nor does the character contain tasteless humor, which I deeply appreciate. His gameplan is quite fascinating, which side wins boils down to whether or not Zolo can hit his one move. And I deeply appreciate the Brock meme due to Onigiri and a series that was dubbed by 4Kids being involved.
