EP2 - Garmin Tactix Pro 7 Solar - Is it worth the money?

The short answer is NO. Unless youre specifically looking for the features of aviation, nexrad, night vision options and halo measurements, this is probably not the model for you, instead get the Fenix 7 Pro 51mm Sapphire solar water for a little less money and even then that is an expensive watch!
Dont get the solar if youre not going to be outside mostly, and get the amoled variants if you want higher resolution above 280x280. This watch is really for people who are outside and move about alot in a nutshell. It has some amazing features and really cool items on it, but the cost is a bit much high.

I decided to upgrade from a casio prw 2500t to the Garmin Tactix Pro 7 Solar watch. This watch has many feature that I make use of while working as a Ranger in parks. The internal map feature set is valuable and worth having in addition to the solar charging for my outdoor uses. This review is fairly long and DOES NOT cover all the aspect of the watch. The watch is very expensive and I got it for $1,099.00 usd with tax it was about $1,216.00 usd which is an isane amount of money for this kind of watch.
