Example:
Imagine you meet someone named Linda, who is passionate about social justice and attended many protests in college. When asked which is more probable:

A) Linda is a bank teller.
B) Linda is a bank teller and active in the feminist movement.
Many people intuitively choose B because it aligns with the description of Linda. However, this is a fallacy: the probability of two events (Linda being a bank teller and a feminist) is always lower than the probability of one event alone (Linda being just a bank teller).

In essence, the conjunction fallacy occurs when people think that more specific conditions are more probable, even though adding conditions always reduces the overall likelihood.
