The North Yorkshire Moors Heather Bloom filmed in the first 3 weeks of August at a diversity of locations across The North York Moors National Park including both moor and coastal venues.

How many of these locations do you recognise ??

A year of beautiful colour in the heather, which given the situation of drought conditions it really came as a shock to me just how well the heather bloomed in 2022.

What is evident in the video, especially the drone shots, is just how dry the moor has been this summer. Mile upon mile of parched yellow fields are in evidence right across our beautiful National Park.
