Farmer Johns Christmas Trees at Secret Valley

Secret Valleys John Hardwick who is also chairman of the British Christmas tree growers association has been growing Christmas Trees for over 20 years on the farm.

The Tree Farm in Somerset covers 50 acres where we grow three types of tree:

Nordman fir (Abies nordmanniana) – From 4 to 12 feet. This is the more popular tree due to being classed as a “non needle drop” and choice of the royal family
Fraser fir (Abies fraseri) – From 4 to 6 feet. Originally an American tree which are a fragrant “non needle drop” that are smaller with less dense branches so ideal for the smaller room.
Norway spruce (Picea abies) From 4 to 24 feet. This is the more “Original” tree, which has a pleasant fragrance.
Somerset farm
Open Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 5pm.
Sunday 10 am – 4pm.

Bristol
Open Monday– Saturday from 9am – 5.30pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm.
