EdTech Mondays Special: The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Conference

The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Conference is a biennial event organized by the Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning, dedicated to driving the actions necessary for effectively utilizing technology to enhance learning outcomes for Africa's youth.

While technology held promise for scaling impactful solutions, a clearer understanding of effective applications, increased resources for EdTech entrepreneurs, and a supportive policy environment was recognized as crucial. The conference sought to spearhead these developments by bringing together key stakeholders to discuss, design, and deploy technology-enhanced learning strategies that were not only effective but also equitable.
The theme for this year was, "Education Technology for Resilient and Inclusive Learning in Africa."
