FTB Revelation #10 - Simple "Flying Squid" Flight (MC 1.12.2 on FTB One)

An easy to get but very powerful flight, and a safe falling as well.

Thanks to Extra Utilities 2 (EU2) we can easily get a magical ring called "Ring of the Flying Squid", this gives us flight for a limited time before it has to be recharged. But even if it sounds like it, the limitation isn't that bad, and this will be very useful for quite some time!

It can be upgraded later to the Angel Ring, but we need more GP and also a captured Ghast! I might do that off cam as it's pretty straight forward and you've already seen the process.

Only using a ring slot, the only drawback is the armor slot used up by the Slime Boots (like a Jetpack, taking up a chest piece). There are other boots that might be used, but this is probably the easiest way since I have plenty of slime.


For this series I have joined the FTB Team and will play FTB Revelation pack for 1.12.2 on the FTB One server. This pack is at the time of this recording not avaliable for public use due to frequent changes to the pack content and config.
