This arrangement of Debussy's "L'après-midi d'un faune" for flute, koto, electric bass and vibraphone mixes classical music with jazz and Japanese sounds.
I heard Claude Debussy's masterpiece "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" for the first time as a teenager and I have been in love with it ever since. Very soon I knew that one day I would do my own interpretation of that hauntingly beautiful opening theme. Well, forty years later here it is: my humble dedication to one of the greatest composers of all time, with the help of Karin Nakagawa (koto), André Buser (electric bass) and Urs Wiesner (vibraphone). Enjoy in a quiet moment!
