SPEEDLAND SL:PDX FIRST RUN / 2021-08-21

My curiosity got the better of me and I decided to be an early adopter of these crazy new trail shoes built around a no-compromise design. I took them out for their first 12-mile run through Franklin, Woodman, and Fryman Canyons of mixed terrain with about 75% trails and 25% roads.

First impressions:
The dual BOA lacing is fantastic and allows for the best lockdown I've ever had in a shoe
The full height lugs were not harsh at all on the roads. I fear for their durability though.
Decent ground feel even with the plate installed
Pretty good traction overall
Step-in feel and cushioning are just about right
Felt pretty nimble in them

More coming soon once I test it on longer runs and without the plate installed!
