My Favorite Game That No Longer Exists

Описание к видео My Favorite Game That No Longer Exists

Do you ever think about the video games you played as a child that had an enormous personal impact on you? I certainly do, but more often than not, I find myself thinking even more about those games that not only hold immense personal value to me, but have also changed so much over time that their current versions are unrecognizable compared to what you fell in love with. For me, one such game is the Nexon published, decades old MMORPG phenomenon, MapleStory. I played MapleStory for the better part of a decade, becoming well acquainted with its head scratching design decisions but immeasurable sense of community. I've watched Maple Story change dramatically over the years, having got in on the ground floor, and part of me has always wanted to go back and experience the game as I once did as a child, but that's not really an option anymore. Through this video, I've tried to come to grips with that, as well as making peace with the game that introduced me to some special people I never would have dreamed of meeting. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching.
