Huh, didn't think I would say this, but I enjoyed the paranormal element by the end (your typical 49 days second chance) - I loved how they didn't pull out any miracles just for the sake of "happily ever after" and I loved how the relationship developed though. Probably one of the most mature and realistic portrayals I've seen lately. I also loved how much attention the family aspects got.
