Aquasol® Corporation prides itself on designing and manufacturing products specifically for weld purging - the act of removing oxygen from the purge zone prior to and during welding. Any residual oxygen can cause significant loss of corrosion resistance and a reduction in joint strength.

Aquasol’s products for purging are extensive and includes Water Soluble Paper and Tape and EZ Purge® dissolvable barriers at hydro test and I-Purge and I-Purge X®; the most versatile, modular and inflatable system for pipe purging. Inert gas is used to inflate the bladders which then creates an airtight seal on each side of the weld joint.

Pipes are first cleaned with EZ Wipes®. EZ Zone Tape® is used as a purge gas retaining tape around the weld joint and our Pro OX 100 monitors the exhaust down to 100 PPM.
