Hajj Flemings is a global brand technologist, international keynote speaker, and the CEO/Founder of REBRANDX. Recognized for his innovative approach to digital transformation, Hajj has built a portfolio of impactful brands, including Rebrand Cities, RapVS.AI, Prompt Camp, and Modern Athlete. He is also the Co-Founder of CXOMPLEX, where he is dedicated to building Michigan’s most diverse AI community and fostering inclusive innovation.
A leader at the intersection of technology, culture, and equity, Hajj co-hosts the CBS News Detroit Tech Talk segment, where he explores the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), digital equity, and technology's role in shaping culture. His leadership extends globally, as he represented the U.S. on a prestigious AI trade mission with the U.S. Department of State to Portugal, sharing insights on AI’s capacity to drive international collaboration and innovation. Additionally, he was a key participant in a fashion trade mission with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to Florence, Italy, bridging the worlds of fashion, technology, and culture while positioning AI as a transformative force in creative industries.
At the forefront of his work is Rebrand Cities, a visionary digital transformation agency dedicated to placing humanity at the center of technological innovation. Committed to amplifying human potential, creativity, and empathy, Rebrand Cities aims to bridge the digital divide and democratize AI access through its AI Institute. The agency’s human-centered AI curriculum equips organizations with the skills to lead with purpose, drive innovation, and maintain humanity's irreplaceable role in shaping the future. Since its inception, Rebrand Cities has helped over 2,000 businesses across 10 cities and 3 countries—including the U.S., Canada, Haiti, and Portugal—embrace digital presence and innovation. The agency also delivers immersive AI upskilling experiences for teams, small businesses, and professionals.
Hajj has collaborated with some of America’s most iconic brands, including Cadillac, Nike, AT&T, Disney, JP Morgan Chase, and the Detroit Pistons. He has spoken at globally respected institutions such as Harvard University, Instagram, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
In 2010, Hajj’s entrepreneurial journey was highlighted in CNN’s Black in America 4: The New Promised Land: Silicon Valley documentary, hosted by Soledad O’Brien. This pivotal moment spotlighted the challenges and triumphs of Black startup founders in the tech industry.
Hajj is the author of The Brand YU Life: Rethinking Who You Are Through Personal Brand Management (2005) and will release his second book, AI is a Remix, in Q2 2025.
The forthcoming book explores the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on a human-centric approach that emphasizes the “human as the soul of technology.
