DD audio 508 free air abuse / 8 inch subwoofer excursion

dd audio 508 d2 is a dual voicecoil subwoofer in the 120$-150$ price range .
In my opinion , after testing several subwoofers this one has the cleanest and lowest bass ,packed in a small sub with 10mm xmax / 64 mm xmech. I bet the bigger and smaller versions of this sub sound great too.

I push this sub free air with an avatar abr 240.4 wired individually and i can say mechaniclly it touches the limits but if we reffer to the voice coil .. it can take much , much more power .

i am very impressed by this subwoofer and i recommend it with honesty . it can be used in a small 0.75sq.ft (21 l) , medium box 1 sq.ft(28 l) or big 1.25sq.ft(35 l) box , as the spec sheets indicate .

rating of sub ( 9.5 - 10 ) considering that nothing is perfect in this world :)
