Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the crucial role of workers in nation building, nationalism, and the vision of a Developed India.

Speaking at the 21st All India Conference of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) held at Bagala Dharmashala, the minister said that the National Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Central Government includes provisions to protect the interests, welfare, and rights of workers.

He stated that nearly 50 crore people in India are part of the workforce, and such national-level conferences play an important role in ensuring social security, welfare, and empowerment of labourers.
