Yoyoyo, what's up everyone. In today's video, I'm at the Congress Bridge bat viewing location in Austin, Texas to view the Austin Bats. This was recommended by my boy Ball Lightning. He told me that at sunset, the bats will swarm out from under this bridge and towards Lady Bird Lake and the Colorado River.

Our visit was kinda a dud because not too many bats came out despite us waiting till sunset (it's darker than it seems in the video, my phone automatically recorded in night mode). Right as we were about to leave to go to Terry Black's for dinner before they closed, the bats started swarming. Pretty cool.

The Austin Bats are Austin's most popular visitor attraction. The Congress Avenue bridge spans Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin and is home to the largest urban bat colony in North America known as the Congress Bridge Bats. This colony is estimated at 1.5 million Mexican free-tail bats.
