I am expressing my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store Halfords - Chadwell Heath. I had booked an appointment to have a spoke on my bike repaired on 29/06/2024. On the day of the appointment, I walked 2.5 miles with my bike, only to be informed by the technician that the spoke was not in stock and needed to be ordered. Consequently, I was required to schedule another appointment.

An appointment was booked for 10th July 2024, and an order for the spoke was placed by the Halfords - Chadwell Heath technician. I paid for both the spoke and the service. As agreed, I travelled another 2.5 miles to drop off the front wheel of my bike in the morning for the spoke replacement. I returned in the evening at 6:30 pm to collect the wheel, but was informed that it was not ready and that I would need to come back the next day.

Unfortunately, I was unwell the following day and could not travel. Despite my illness, I went to Halfords - Chadwell Heath on Friday, 12th July 2024, to collect my bike’s wheel. Due to my condition, I was unable to inspect the quality of the work in the store. Additionally, the wheel was wrapped in a black plastic bag, making it difficult to see.

Upon reaching home, I discovered that a black spoke had been fitted, whereas the rest of the spokes are silver, resulting in an odd and unprofessional appearance. Furthermore, I noticed that the cap of the tube valve was missing.
Moreover, the rim was not true after fitting the new spoke and the rim is wobble from side to side.

I have contacted customer support to raise a complaint and am currently awaiting a resolution over last 9 day. I have to chase the complaint department 3 more times over these 9 days for the regulation.
