Forgotten Tench on the float - A short summer float fishing session!

Welcome back to another video on the channel. This one is much more relaxed than our last video chasing Perch in the Haringvliet but it sums up our recent sessions nicely. Just simple float fishing on beautiful ponds chasing forgotten Tench. If there’s one style of fishing that fits this time of year perfectly it has to be targeting tench on the float. In this video, we head to a local quintessential tench pond, packed with lily pads and tucked away in the middle of nowhere. It’s truly a forgotten pond where we are in the search of one of the few big tench that reside there. This is a water that Adam has spent a few years targeting on and off, just grabbing short evening sessions when they become available and he’s been lucky enough to land some immaculate forgotten tench.

This session was no different, armed with a tin of sweetcorn and some leftover groundbait it really was a smash and grab evening on the float. Enough time and bait to get them fizzing and hopefully biting! Check out the video to see how we get on…

**UP NEXT ON THE CHANNEL** We also have another tench film in the works. In this film we will be talking about out spring campaign targeting the much larger specimens on feeder tactics. The true search for a double figure tench - that is certainly one you won’t want to miss. A truly magical session was had and Sam managed to land not one but three different monsters!
