wanderlust is a song I wrote where I wanted to explore that scenario where you notice yourself crushing on a close friend, and the impending anxiety that comes with that realization. You don’t wanna lose the friendship, but you can’t help but want something more, you yearn to move on but there’s this tiny spark inside of you that just can’t seem to be ignored so easily; this song kind of encompasses that energy and transforms those feelings into this dramatic and energetic ballad that I think everyone can relate to in some way. This song’s been in the making for about 2 years now? It’s been a lot of fun trying to get it just right, and I’m very happy to finally present one of my boldest songs yet!
