Contagious Maths - Introduction

Mathematics can help us work out strategies to tackle epidemics and pandemics. In this video Professor Julia Gog OBE from the University of Cambridge gives a brief introduction to 'Contagious Maths'.

Contagious Maths is a project aimed at schools and the public exploring how mathematics can help tackle epidemics and pandemics. These Contagious Maths resources were developed and written by Professor Julia Gog and the MMP team at the University of Cambridge, including both NRICH and Plus, and funded by the Royal Society’s Rosalind Franklin Award 2020. We have tailored these resources for ages 11-14 on NRICH, and for older students and wider audiences on Plus.
