The following video is a compilation of Joe Biden's stance on incarceration. For over 40 years, Joe Biden wrote the book on mass incarceration.

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, commonly known as the crime bill, was sponsored by Joe Biden 30 years ago. It is often blamed for extending tough-on-crime policies that overly criminalized Black Americans.

Biden ran on a promise that he would offer $20 Billion Dollars to the states for them to drop their mandatory minimum sentencing. He did nothing.

The bill has incarcerated more black men than anywhere else on the planet. For example, New Jersey, a democratic ran state with Governor Phil Murphy. It has the biggest black-to-white racial disparity in incarceration. Black adults are 12x more likely to go to prison than a white adult.

This proves that it doesn't matter what state, red or blue. The bill that Biden drafted locks up people of color and destroys their communities as it was intended to.

The prison industrial complex was created by Joe Biden and it now has influence over funding and elections. Corporations are making billions on the free slave labor while state such as New Jersey pay their incarcerated less than $30 a month.
