While triple doubles have now become something of a norm in the NBA; it seems like putting up a QUADRUPLE double, even in the fast pace era of the modern NBA is still a challenge for most players. It has been argued that before steals & blocks were officially counted, players like Jerry West/Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell may indeed have put up MULTIPLE quadruple doubles. Unfortunately there is no video evidence to back up these claims. BUT. That can't be said for Tim Duncan in Game 6 of the 2003 NBA Finals. Where it is highly contested even to this day; that we may have let a quadruple double slip right under all of our noses.
