Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look together at our Gustafson Textured Pendant Ceiling Light. Now folks, this measures 10-inch wide on the main dome here and it has a nice black finish on the top mounting area. So folks, again, 10 inches diameter end to end, 7 inches tall including the mounting part, and then about 4 1/4 inches tall on the dome. Now this dome is a plastic so you don't have to worry about breaking it. It's not glass.

It does run on 12 volts of DC current. So all your wires and everything would be hidden up in top obviously. Now there is no installation hardware included, so you would just reuse the hardware that's in your lighting assembly or your box that's in your ceiling, rather, to mount this in place of the one you're replacing. If you're adding one, again, most electrical outlets or boxes that you would wire those up should have them. If not, you can find them locally at your local hardware store.

Now again, folks, this is a 12-volt powered light, so let's go ahead and get it powered up today. And as you can see, it has a push button here. It is spring loaded. So you'll hear that click. And again, it gives a nice bright light.

I'm gonna go and turn off the overhead lamp from the studio so we can get a look at it. So as you can see, very nice putting out some light. I do apologize if the camera is changing that color. It is actually a yellowish tint on the color of the lamp. There we go, you can see that better now.

So again, keep in mind it does have a push button on it. So if you want to be able to turn it off and on with that button, you need to make sure your mounting it somewhere that you can still reach and push that button. So maybe under a counter, over a kitchen sink, or in the bathroom potentially or something like that. Or you can always have it turned on with the button and then just use a wall switch if you have your electrical outlets wired that way, et cetera. And you can answer all those with a certified electrician in your area if you're not sure.
