Eligibility for Lung Cancer Screening

You may qualify for lung cancer screening if you:

-Are aged 50-80 years.
-Have a history of heavy smoking (20 pack-years or more, meaning one pack a day for 20 years or two packs a day for 10 years).
-Currently smoke or have quit within the last 15 years.
-Even if you don’t meet these criteria, consult your doctor if you’re concerned about lung cancer due to family history, genetic risks, or exposure to environmental factors (e.g., secondhand smoke or radon).
