Scenario:
Imagine you're the tech person in a small office with only 5 computers all connected to the same network. They should all be able to access a shared folder on a Windows 10 PC. One employee using a Windows 7 PC with the MAC address 00-0C-29-24-FB-E6 can't access the shared folder from their system. To troubleshoot, you decide to use a tool called Netdiscover on your computer to check if the employee's computer is connected to the network, and you want to save the results for later reference.
What is Netdiscover?
Netdiscover is a network scanning tool used for discovering devices connected to a network. It works by sending ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) requests and analyzing the responses to map out the devices present on the network.

Steps:
Prerequisites:
Make sure all the virtual machines (Windows 10, Windows 7, and Kali Linux) are running.
Steps:
1.Open Kali Linux and run the following command to discover the MAC address for Windows on the network:

sudo netdiscover -i eth0 -r 192.168.43.0/24

2. If the MAC address for the Windows 7 computer is not displayed, follow these steps on the Windows system:
Click on the Start menu and type "Network and Sharing Center".
Click on "Local Area Connection".
Click on "Properties".
Click on "TCP/IPv4".
Click on "Properties".
Select the radio button for "Obtain an IP address automatically".
Click "OK".
Click "Close".
Repeat step 1.
3.Run the following command to save the network discovery results:
sudo netdiscover -i eth0 "greater than symble" netdiscover_results.txt
