On the occasion of Sidhu Moose Wala's birthday, Mother Charan Kaur shared special moments with the daughters of Samau village

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, who was popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was an Indian rapper, singer and songwriter. He was born on 11 June 1993 at village Moosa in Mansa. He worked predominantly in Punjabi-language music and cinema. He was considered a key figure in Punjabi Music industry. Significantly, In 2020, Sidhu was named by 'The Guardian' among 50 up and coming artists. He also became the first Punjabi and Indian singer to perform at Wireless Festival and won four awards at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot d.e.ad by unidentified assailants in his car on May 29, 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. Investigation in the matter is still ongoing. Sidhu Moose Wala's parents Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur are demanding justice for their son.
