Professor Max Lu | WIN Distinguished Lecture Series

On October 30 2018, WIN was pleased to welcome Professor Max Lu as a part of WIN’s Distinguished Lecture Series. Professor Max Lu has been President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Surrey since April of 2016.

“Accelerating Innovation in Nanomaterials through Partnerships”

This talk provides an overview of a few key nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage, and for siRNA and dsRNA delivery, as examples. It will attempt to address the steps for their commercial applications. Besides a series of techno-economic assessment and structure-property-performance optimization, partnerships with end-users or industry will be key to accelerated route to market.
