Renown Recall | City Bus Manager | West Scotland

Описание к видео Renown Recall | City Bus Manager | West Scotland

As if all was going too well at National Busways West Scotland, they receive the news that the Volvo B10BLE Wright Renown has been recalled. The type make up the backbone of the single-decker fleet in the region. Unlike the DB250LF recall, which only affected PO, this recall affects fleets at PO and EK. National Busways West Scotland warn of intense service disruption during the recall, and reiterate that the type is safe for passengers to continue to use should one arrive at their stop. At the same time, it's not all doom and gloom on the network. The 108 will officially relaunch as part of the Orbit network running the same route at a much increased frequency of every 15 minutes Mondays-Sundays, and every 12 minutes during peak times Mondays-Fridays. A fleet of 11 Volvo B7L Wright Eclipse Metros have been acquired for the enhanced service, and the existing 13 B7Ls have been refurbished with new route branding. Alongside that, the 106 will be extended to Barrhead cross-country via Aurs Road to provide better connectivity between Orbits.
