The Gripz grooves hold the hook in place under tension but are easily removed when the tension is released.

A flaw in barbless patterns is that they can skip in a fish's mouth, this is something the Gripz stops due to the grooves and their secure hook hold. Made from the highest-grade Japanese wire with a cutting point which results in what we believe is the sharpest hooks straight from the packet. The cutting point also means that the hooks stay sharp after multiple captures.
