Sailing up the St. Clair River in a Catalina 30

Описание к видео Sailing up the St. Clair River in a Catalina 30

We set sail from Jefferson Beach Marina, on Lake St. Clair, and motored up the St. Clair River to Port Huron, near Lake Huron. Fighting against the current, the 42 nautical mile trip took 11 hours. The threatened storms never materialized, and we had a great day for Great Lakes and Saltwater freighter watching.

Some of the vessels we saw were: Wilfred Sykes, Algocanada, Federal Fraser, Federal Beaufort, Takes a Little Time, Adventuress, Paul Tregurtha and the Edwin H Gott.
