In this DIY video I explain how to remove and replace the crank pulley / vibration dampener on my Mk6 Volkswagen GTI (2010-2014) which has a TSI 2.0T CCTA or CBFA EA888 Gen 2 engine. This process is identical for the following vehicles that have the same engine: Beetle, Jetta GLI, CC, Passat, Tiguan, & Eos.

Reasons for Replacement:
-Internal separation causing belt not to spin
-Smoother RPM's
-Performance (all the horsepowahhhs!)
-Leaking front crankshaft seal
-Timing chain service
