How to perform the zero point calibration of VD 500?

In order to achieve the required measurement accuracy, a zero point adjustment of the sensor must first be carried out at the start of the measurement.
- To do this, pull the sensor out completely to the stop.
- To apply system pressure to the sensor, open the ball valve.
- To ensure that there is no flow during the zero point calibration, we recommend closing the ball valve again.
- The sensor must be aligned parallel to the pipe using the supplied alignment key before zero point calibration.
- After correct alignment, please wait 20s.
- Then start the zero point calibration on the sensor.
- After zero point calibration, the sensor tip must be reinstalled in the pipe without changing the alignment.
