Today, we discuss the Fate of my 1962 Gibson Les Paul (SG) that I purchased from the original family earlier this month. When it came to me, the neck pickup was dead, the nut was cracked, it was missing a saddle, it was dirty and missing the original case! I fixed (most) of these issues in today's installment.

I've decided not to keep this piece. It was sold to me with the understanding that it would be put up for sale to find a forever home. After the initial demo, I was pretty keen on just keeping it myself - but ultimately, I'm going to focus on the Norlin Era through the Henry J era for my museum so I'm going to let this one go for the time being. If I ever start collecting McCarty Eras... I'm sure I'll regret selling this as the Ebony Block SGs are the coolest! I had fun documenting and restoring this one and I hope you enjoyed watching it.
