In this video, I'm going to talk about Airplane Lights.

By the end of this content, you will know what Navigation/Position lights are, what are Anti-Collision Lights and when to switch them on.

Depending on the type of Airplane these lights might be located in a different place, however, all the planes follow the same principles.

So, once you know what is an Anti-collision light is you will be able to spot it regardless of the type of Aircraft.

The Airplanes have Navigation Lights and Anti-collision lights.

The Navigation lights are located on the wingtips and on the tail of your aircraft.

On the left wingtip, you have a red steady light, on the right wingtip you have a green steady light and on the tail, you have a steady white light.

The anti-collision lights are red flashing lights located, in the Boeing 737 and on the Commercial Jet, on top and on the bottom of the fuselage.

Depending on the type of Airplane you might find this red flashing light located in a different place, the Cessna172, for example, has its red Anti-Collision light located on top of the rudder.

On top of the Red Anti-Collision lights, there are the Strobe White Flashing lights located on each wingtip and on the tail.
