Explosive Mud Volcano Erupts in Colombia; 2,500+ Foot Fireball, Road Covered

A powerful explosion and fireball were generated, rising more than 2,500 feet after a mud volcano violently erupted. This occurred in northern Colombia during the afternoon of November 11th, and by the time the eruption was over, nearly 25 acres had been rapidly covered in a thick layer of mud. This occurred at the same mud volcano which produced a deadly eruption in 1992, being known as either El Aburrido or the Cacahual mud volcano.
