I here play live my original song to the words of Dante Gabriel Rossetti's poem of the same name. The recording opens my brand new album, In the Deep and Dazzling Darkness, which just came out this past Friday, October 24th! It's out wherever you stream (including here but also Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Tidal, and Pandora).

It concerns the literal and figurative night and comprises 10 songs, nine original and one orchestrated Bach prelude. There are two original instrumentals and seven pieces to works by 19th c. Romantic poets like Rossetti and Clare, Blake and Wordsworth, Longfellow and Poe.

You may find the style reminiscent of 1960s/1970s folk with a mystical quality to it in addition to a Vaudevillian, waltzy, Victorian, and jazz hybridized sound. I made all the aspects at home, and this is my 12th such album. Check it and the others out!
