How to Make Bonsai from a Rose Bush 🌱🌹 Mame Bonsai

In this video we create Mame/Mini Bonsai from a Rose Bush. Rose as a species is not so common for Bonsai trees. However, certian varietys of Rose do have many desireable traits that we would look from a species for Bonsai.

Some varietys have small leaves and even the beautiful rose blossoms can be small. They also grow pretty fast! I think that this is a great species for beginners to Bonsai as roses are easily accessable, cheap and grow fast compared to other Bonsai trees like Junipers and Pines.

A Mame/Mini Bonsai is a tree that shorter than 15cm. "Mame" 豆 is Japanese for "Bean" which is small, like a little Bonsai!
