I show how to fix a home air conditioner unit that is not cooling the air by replacing a faulty run capacitor. Some models may have a capacitor dedicated to the fan and another dedicated to the compressor (herm, hermetically-sealed compressor). The compressor capacitor is generally around 80 microfarads (abbreviated uF or MFD). Sometimes the fan and compressor capacitors are combined into one module, this particular unit has 2, but the process is the same.
